What is the difference between digital and film?
Besides the base price. Digital is best for images that are intended for internet or websites. Digital images can be immediately transferred to disk and you have the option of ordering prints (prints are not always available instantly). Film is best for print ads or enlargements.
Is there a quality difference between digital and film?
The quality of these images are virtually the same in most regards. However digital images can not be enlarged beyan 11 x 14 in size, instantly. If you'd like a larger image film is recommended instead of digital.
How long does it take to receive my photo package?
Typically digital images are available instantly at the end of your photo session, but do allow a day or two for the CD and the prints to be ready for any retouching that need to be done.
Is my privacy and my photographs secure?
We maintain the security and privacy of all clients photographs. After shooting and viewing we remove all photographs from our computers. The photos are then stored in a safe location, where they cannot be accessed by anyone, apart from ourselves. Unless we are instructed by the client after he or she has received the images to destroy our copies, they will remain in our safe location for the period of two months then will be destroid. No clients photographs can be used by Top Gallery Studio without formal consent in the way of model release forms signed by the client.
Are the photography services for women only?
Yes, Top Gallery photography studio is designed and operating exclusively for women or joined male partners in a photo shoot, we do not except male clients or male cross-dressers.
What should I bring for my session?
That answer depends on your photo needs, We do provide glamorous vintage and modern wardrobe with all types of props, but you may bring along any clothing and outfits that you may want to include in the photo shoot. Also you could bring along some ideas and samples if you know exactly what you want or have a certain look in mind, even though we see it as our duty to come up with creative ideas and poses, your specific ideas are always welcome, The more ideas we have, the better the results, guaranteed! Also bring a few underwear sets of different colours or bikinis.
How do I prepare for the photo shoot?
Stay healthy, and get a good night's sleep. Try not to party the night before the photo shoot, if you are tired it will show both on your face and in your attitude. For most fashion shoots do not wear underwear, socks, or tight fitting clothes. Anything that presses on your body will leave red pressure marks which often can take up to one hour to go away. Also remember bras are usually never worn for fashion shoots, they leave undesirable lines.
What happens on the photo shoot?
As soon as you arrive we will start by planning the shoot and discussing what look we want to achieve. We will set the lighting, background and surroundings to help set the stage for accomplishing your look. We work together to prepare your make-up, hair, and the right outfit for the shoot. Then will we will start taking shots in digital format with deferent setups, lighting and outfits, you can change wardrobe as many times as you like, yours or studio's, and lastly, at the end of the photo shoot which could last up to 8 hours and having over 400 shots taken you will be presented with a CD with the best 50 high resolution images. We might have to ask you to leave the images with us so I can work on them digitally to enhance them, or to remove any unwanted details, this is also part of the service.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course you can bring a friend! Is important that to feel comfortable and safe whilst you are working with us so please feel free to bring a friend along for your own safety and support. We do not advise bringing boyfriends or male partners along as they do tend to come along for the 'wrong' reasons and this can become very uncomfortable for both the model and the photographer. However please feel free to bring any other male or female friend along bearing in mind that some degree of nudity may be involved.
Do I have to be a certain age, or any specific size?
No, the majority of our clients are non professionals and they come from all walks of life and age group, we work with clients ranging in age from nineteen to seventy, and all sizes, from 6 to 20.
As professional photographers we have developed special techniques to enhance and capture the woman's perception of herself, and her strong desire to feel and look like a professional model. We will guide you throughout the unique photo session and we will work together on the composition, styles, deferent poses and outfits to achieve the best results.
Do you offer photo-retouching services?
Minor to moderate Retouching is included in photo shoot service like: colour correction on skin tone, removing skin marks, scars, cellulitis etc. Any other professional major retouching like: objects manipulation, digital liposuction and slimming, removing dark circles under the eyes and smoothing skin texture will be a fee charged depending on your specific requirements.
How much will the photo shoot cost?
We have three makeover photo shoot packeges starting at £350. For more information please visit our Prices & Booking page. If this prices exceed your budget Just contact us and we will be more than happy to provide you with a tailor made package rate, based on your needs and your budget.
When do I pay?
£70.00 booking deposit (20%) is required at all times prior to the photo shoot, The deposit can be paid online after the booking has been confirmed with the Studio. The rest can be payed on the day of the shoot (in cash) or before hand online. After your online payment have cleared, you will be sent a receipt for your payment via PayPal.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes of course you can, all we ask is to give us 3 working days notice. Cancellations under this time will incur a loss of deposit.
Do I have to pay for Make-up and Hair style?
No, Make-up & hair style is included in the price, Our professional make-up & hair stylist will pamper with you for an hour or two to create the fantastic glamorous makeover results which will make you feel and look the part, not only for the photo shoot but also afterwards on your night out with friends... if you're not too tired that is;
What forms of payment do you accept, and do you require a deposit?
Payments can be made in cash, Personal Cheques or by major credit cards through PayPal. You don't need to make any payments for making the booking but we will require a 20% deposit after the booking has been made and the date for the photo shoot has been confirmed.
